NYC May Day Rally

Dear Colleagues,

This May 1, we invite you to join us in New York City for “We Will Not Be Silent: May Day Rally & March.” Workers, immigrants, and community members from across the region will come together to commemorate International Workers Day and stand up for dignity, justice, and solidarity.

A group of higher ed workers from multiple unions will be meeting at 3pm in front of the New School at 13th and 5th Ave. Please meet us there! We will have UUP contract signs and will march together up to Washington Square Park for the formal rally!

Event Details:
Union Meetup Time & Location: 3 PM in front of New School at 13th and 5th Ave

Event Time & Location: 4 PM rally at Washington Square Park & March (step off at 5:15 PM) to Foley Square. Solidarity hour will begin at Foley Square at 6:15 PM

As you participate in May Day actions, please email any pictures of the event to UUP staff at photos@uupmail.org. Please include your name, information about which event the photos are from, and other identifying information about who is in the photos (ex: members from ____ chapter). Any videos and photos shared may be used in UUP publications and/or on UUP social media pages. As a reminder, when posting on social media please tag @uupinfo and use our contract hashtag #UUPContract.
